Strengths
- Audience profile was clearly decided and explained for the music video.
- Interesting idea of how it will challenge typical stereotypes of males which is also appealing to a female audience.
- Nicely compared to different existing mainstream artists of a similar style & genre.
- Black and white element in both the video and ancillary products will make it easily recognised as the same artist whilst connoting narrative of the song well.
Weaknesses
- The description of the video is too vague therefore needs to elaborate what is going to happen during the video and what it will represent.
- Not enough ideas for the dvd cover and magazine advert.
- Should've played a music video from an existing artist e.g. Enrique Iglesias to connote what the video will be similar to.
Improvements
- Develop a clearer idea of what the music video will have running through it and how it will represent the song in terms of narrative.
- Elaborate on how my work music video will be non-linear.
- Discuss other ways i can integrate my ancillary products more.
- Have a more detailed explanation of what the ancillary products will look like and what elements will make all the products look similar and related.
